A Tree Grows in Manhattan.

Fuggedabout Brooklyn or even Central Park! I’m talking about the trees that grow tenaciously, doggedly at the bottom of midtown Manhattan’s glass, stone, and concrete canyons. I love them — arboreal pugilists climbing towards the sliver of sky far above, fighting for survival — despite the random, manual-digital pruning abuses of urban passersby.
