Blossoms and Patterns
I’m not talking about the patterns of blossoms themselves. Like all flowers — their variations, parts, forms, shapes, and patterns — much has been already written about that. Instead, on this rainy day, I was fascinated by the patterns of a black cherry tree’s fallen petals on grass, ground, and pavement. The photos are gloomy, reflecting the day’s weather, but I hope you will enjoy (as I did) the patterns of petals on the pavement, painted-in-place by passing vehicles, and passersby.
