Talking Sky and Rainbow

As afternoon thunderstorms gathered to the west, swept in swiftly, deluged and drenched, then blew by to the east, the sky was talking continually. It was a conversation between the wind, and layers of clouds at different altitudes, moving at different rates of speed and acceleration across the clear blueness above them. At least that’s what it looked like from where we stood… And then the sky gave gifted us with a rainbow to the east, as the storms raged and rampaged away in that direction, leaving us dampened (our clothes — not our spirits), but delighted!
