I Mist Again.
Subtitle: Oops, I Did it Again.
Second day in a row with heavy, humid, haze hovering over the waters of Long Island Sound. My mile-and-a-half walk around the loop by the shore was one 50-shades-of-grey view after another. Morning light was dim and diffused, filtering through the moody, murky, milky, mist. Visibility through the thick mist dropped off so quickly that objects quickly faded into soft, grainy versions of themselves, and disappeared in the distance. A trio of lifeguard chairs on the beach illustrated the “fading in the mist” visibility drop-off perfectly…
