Talking Sky and Rainbow

While the afternoon thunderstorm gathered in the west, swept in swiftly, deluged, and blew by to the east, the sky was talking continually. It was a conversation between wind and layers of clouds at different altitudes, moving at different rates of speed and acceleration, across a bright, blue background. After it passed, the storm gifted us with a rainbow to the east, as it continued to raged and rampage off into the distance. We were left, drenched and dampened — skin, hair, clothes, not our spirits — but delighted!
