Docks in Morning Mist

Today, my morning walk by the shore was shrouded in thick mist. The docks and old bridge pylons in the estuary’s still water were silhouetted against a soft, grainy backdrop, with trees and landscape fading away behind them. The light was dim and diffused, colors were muted and monochromatic, the atmosphere was murky and moody.
