At the Cameras & Films Barcelona “Grand Re-Opening Event” on November 7th 2024, my plan was to shoot with the oddest camera in the shop, purely as a conversation-starter. Let’s just say my plan worked perfectly! I spent the whole night with people asking variations of “what is that weird camera” in English, Spanish, Catalan, and various other languages… 🙂
To start the evening, my camera of choice was the Minolta 110 Zoom SLR “Mark I” (original 1976 version) with a basic flash (brand/model unknown) loaded with fresh Lomography Tiger ASA 200 color 110 cartridge film. As you can see below, the results were GREAT, grainy, but also surprisingly sharp despite the small 110 film negative size!

Much love and appreciation to my partners, collaborators, and many new friends made during that evening at Cameras & Films in Barcelona! And of course, many thanks to Moritz Barcelona for the thirst-quenching refreshments at the event… ❤
