Well, I guess Long Island Sound is not technically a “sea” but it sounds better… 🙂

Walking by the water on January 1, 2026, it was quiet, cold, and deserted. As the late afternoon winter sun prepared to set, it briefly shone through an opening in the clouds, and sparkled on the waves.
